Dear Chamber of Deputies,

I am following up on my Access to Information request dated 11 August 2026 concerning "the Committee on Economy and Trade's review of quality certification and the services of the Rwanda Standards Board."

The applicable period for responding has now elapsed under Law No. 04/2013 and the relevant regulations.

To clarify, the review I am referring to is the one carried out by the Standing Committee on Economy and Trade in relation to the Auditor-General's findings on the Rwanda Standards Board, covering certification activities for the period 2022 to 2025 as publicly reported in the press on 11 August 2026.

I ask that you provide the requested information or, where any part is withheld, a written explanation identifying the legal basis for withholding it, together with the remaining disclosable information.

Yours faithfully,

Kayiranga

Dear Chamber of Deputies,

I am following up again on my Access to Information request submitted on 11 August 2026 concerning the Committee on Economy and Trade's review of quality certification and the services of the Rwanda Standards Board.

I clarified in my follow-up of 21 September 2026 that this refers to the Standing Committee's review of the Auditor-General's findings on the Rwanda Standards Board, as publicly reported in August 2026. I have not received the requested records, a decision, or an acknowledgement.

The period prescribed by Ministerial Order No. 007/07.01/13 of 27 December 2013 of a maximum of three (3) working days from the receipt of the application has long elapsed.

I would be grateful if the Chamber could provide the requested report, resolutions and records, issue a written decision stating the legal basis for withholding any part of them, or transfer the relevant part to the appropriate institution and inform me accordingly.

Yours faithfully,

Kayiranga
